House rules

House rules
Thank you very much for your stay at our resort. Our staff work hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. However, we cannot do this without your cooperation. Therefore, we would like to draw your attention to the following house rules.

General rules
Please behave in such a way as not to cause any inconvenience to anyone. Enjoy your stay and allow other guests to enjoy their holiday rest. All guests must strictly observe the house rules and follow the instructions of the staff and/or any security service present. Smoking is not allowed inside your house or flat. Smoking is only allowed outside on the terrace, provided you consider the comfort of other guests. We ask you to dispose of your cigarette butts in ashtrays or the dustbins provided.

Safety

When handling fire, please always think of your safety and the safety of others!

Barbecues may only be used on the terrace of your accommodation and under no circumstances indoors. Barbecues must not be used on the garden tables. Please be considerate of other guests and keep smoke and odour nuisance to a minimum.

Open fires are not permitted indoors or outdoors in your accommodation.

If your living room has a fireplace, only wood available from the minimarket may be burnt in it for safety reasons. The safety and use instructions provided must be strictly adhered to.

Under no circumstances may objects (towels, clothing, infusion buckets, etc.) be placed on the stove in the sauna of your chalet or in the general sauna in the main building, even when the sauna is switched off (danger due to careless switching on without checking first).

Any (electrical) equipment brought into the sauna must comply with the legal requirements.

If a fire breaks out indoors, the smoke detector will normally go off and the reception will be alerted. However, as this may not be manned at the moment, the Dormio emergency number +43 (0) 676 373 6818 must still be called immediately. Of course, this also applies to fires outside.

When leaving your accommodation, please always check that all lights and electrical appliances are switched off, windows are closed and front doors are locked.

Parking

Each car or motorbike must be clearly visible with a fully completed parking permit, which will be given to you at check-in.

Please park your car only in the parking spaces belonging to your accommodation.

If you arrive with more cars than there are parking spaces available in front of your accommodation (most units have one parking space, the larger ones more), please park them, also with a fully completed parking slip, in the resort car park by the bus stop.

ATTENTION! THE LARGE CAR PARK USED TO ACCESS THE RECEPTION BELONGS TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF OBERTRAUN AND IS SUBJECT TO CHARGES!

Unfortunately, the municipality does not make any exceptions here when handing out parking tickets.

Foreign cars do not have access to the resort. If you are expecting visitors, please ask at reception for a parking ticket for their car in the resort car park by the bus stop.

It is not permitted to park cars on the street or on the lawn. In the event of an emergency, the emergency services must be able to reach all accommodation in the resort quickly and without hindrance.

Parking on the resort grounds is at your own risk. Dormio Resort Obertraun is not liable for any damage, loss or theft of your personal belongings.

Electric cars

Electric cars may only be charged at the designated charging points in the resort car park. Charging at the power supply of your accommodation is not permitted. You can obtain a charging card from reception for a fee.

Pets

Pets are only allowed in certain accommodation. They must be specified at the time of booking so that we can ensure that we do not reserve a pet-free house for you, and a fee is payable. Please mention your pet at check-in anyway, in case something went wrong with the booking.

Out of consideration for guests with allergies, pets must never be accommodated in pet-free accommodation. If you yourself suffer from a corresponding allergy, please be sure to mention this when booking so that we can reserve a pet-free house for you if possible.

If you arrive with a pet and despite everything you find a no-dog sign at the entrance of your accommodation, please inform the reception immediately!

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times outside their own holiday accommodation and must not disturb other guests at the resort. Dog faeces on the resort premises must be removed immediately. Dogs are not allowed in some areas such as the swimming pool, sauna or fitness room. However, they are welcome in the restaurant or at the reception.

Visitors
Visitors are welcome, but must leave the resort before 21:00. Should visitors wish to stay overnight, this must be reported to reception. They will be registered as fellow travellers and a visitor's tax must be paid. The reception reserves the right to refuse guests. Visitors must abide by the rules set out in this regulation.

(Night) rest and nuisance
Between 22:00 and 06:00, out of consideration for other guests, a night-time quiet is to be observed on the entire premises. Exception: Restaurant until closing time. During this time, no music, noise or loud conversations may be heard outside your own accommodation.

Also during the day there must be no disturbance of other guests by excessively loud music or noise.

Football, other loud ball games, the use of aerial drones and any other noisy or otherwise disturbing activities are not permitted on the resort premises. Please use the appropriate facilities on the beach for this purpose, for example.

Should other guests repeatedly complain to us due to noise or other nuisance, we reserve the right to charge you for this.

General facilities

The use of all resort facilities, such as the swimming pool, fitness equipment, sauna, children's play equipment, etc., as well as rental items such as bicycles, kayaks, barbecues, etc., is at your own risk.

Dormio Resort Obertraun is not liable for any damage caused by their improper use.

Individual furnishings Accommodation
Each accommodation has individual furnishings. It is not permitted to move furniture belonging to the indoor area outside. Inventory items such as furniture, bedding, appliances, crockery, etc. may not be moved or relocated to other accommodation.

At night and while you are away, all loose items such as bicycles, toys, etc. must be tidied up around the accommodation, stowed away as far as possible and moved out of sight. Bicycles must not be leaned against the accommodation. The erection of party tents is not permitted.

Waste

Guests are obliged to keep the accommodation and surroundings in a tidy condition. No waste may be left in the accommodation or surroundings. Waste must be collected separately and disposed of in one of the waste collection points. Placing rubbish bags or loose rubbish outside is not permitted (vermin!).

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the accommodation, only on the terrace and in other outdoor areas. Please be considerate of other guests who may feel inconvenienced by cigarette smoke. Please dispose of cigarette butts and do not leave them on the floor.

Maintenance work
We reserve the right to carry out maintenance and cleaning work around your accommodation from 8:00am. Dormio Resort Obertraun reserves the right to enter your accommodation for inspections or maintenance work. If possible, such a visit will be announced in good time and consideration will be given to your comfort (e.g. sleeping in); however, in emergencies, notice may be waived.

Deposits
Dormio Resort Obertraun is entitled to charge damages caused by the guest, harassment of other guests, his behaviour, vandalism or otherwise incurred costs by means of the paid house deposit. Significant violations of the house rules may result in immediate removal from the resort and future banning from the premises, with forfeiture of the security deposit and without the right to a refund of the rental fees paid.

Damage to the property of Dormio Resort will always be charged to the party responsible or the booking holder; clarification with the insurance company must be made by the latter. Additional expenses on the part of our employees or third parties (e.g. security services) may be invoiced.
